Socius together with Faculty of Economics and Business from
Slovenian university in Maribor introduces a new
educational program which is called International School of
Corporate Governance. The aim of this program is to combine theory and
practice both from national and international perspective. This was the
introductory program and in autumn we will proceed with the modular
approach of education.
Program of the School was divided into thematic modules. Each module
was presented by three lecturers: two of them were top level experts
who have extensive practical experience in the field of corporate
governance (one of them is foreign and the other Slovenian).The third
is an expert with experience in theoretical studies and research work.
Each lecturer gave a 30 minute presentation. The emphasis of these was
on presentation of experience and case studies. After that each module
had a 30 minute debate with all the lecturers. In this way every
subject was presented from different aspects.
