On November 23rd 2010, in Paris, at  the invitation of the International Committee of the French Institute of Directors (Institut Francais des Administrateurs), Leonardo Peklar lectured on the topic of Corporate Governance in Eurasia and Middle East.

The main interest of the participants were the questions of enforcement of the international principles within transitional environments, specificities of family-owned businesses and state-owned enterprises, and the impact of different cultural patterns on corporate governance of the companies. The interdependence between the political system and the system of corporate governance, which is reflected in all economies and has a significant impact on the competitiveness, was also clearly highlightened.
